Position: Wellness Mentor
 

• Duration: 5 Weeks at 90 minute group sessions on Thursday's 4:30pm - 6pm

• Commitment: Part-time, working directly with 4 students

• Stipend: $400 (paid at the end of the program)

• Location: Moreno Valley, CA
   

Responsibilities:

• Mentor and support a small group of 4 students through structured wellness activities

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment

• Lead discussions, check-ins, and guided exercises related to personal growth and mental well-being (abiding by the curriculum provided)

• Communicate regularly with program staff regarding student progress and needs

• Attend any required training or orientation sessions before the academy starts

• Provide feedback on the program and student engagement
   

Qualifications:

• Experience in mentoring, coaching, teaching, or wellness-related work

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Passion for youth empowerment and mental health awareness

• Ability to commit to the full 5-week program

• (Preferred) Background in social work, psychology, education, or community engagement
